So exacerbating her asthma can cause long term damage. I would severely limit sending her there if you have any option to. Might encourage them to quit.

That's interesting. When I had the pre shot they just told me it would buy me more time to get the post shot if I got bitten. I had 5 post bite.

It's true but the sun here is so strong that we end up getting less of it than you would in Europe because we have to cover up so much.

I had never heard of it until I had a baby so it's not surprising you haven't heard of it but unfortunately it is a real danger which the doctors educate parents about.
