Reply to The Banshees of Inisherin’s Writer-Director Has Made a Career of “Irishness.” It’s All a Load of Blarney by HanSoloHeadBeg
This is so fucking stupid. The writer thinks they're making this big expose on him mostly living in England. This is known, doesn't mean he doesn't understand the culture or have tethers to it, given both his parents are Irish.

Reply to comment by Gary_Vigoda in Fourth season of 'Atlanta' is coming to Disney+ in Canada on Wednesday, 14th December 2022. by HumanOrAlien
They still air new episodes on their respective channels first before hitting a streaming service, unless they air on said service or have some deal to do i simultaneous. It will have been a month after the show is ending, I don't see them adding it making your FX sub pointless unless you only used it for Atlanta.

It's pretty impressive the stars this franchise has been able to wrangle. Costner, Ford, Mirren, fucking Tom Hanks (albeit in a brief cameo).
There's a Bass Reeves spinoff with David Oyelowo coming up too IIRC.

Reply to How does Stephen Colbert's ratings compare to David Letterman's? by [deleted]
Not an easy thing to map. It very easily can be asserted whether or not Letterman was a better Late Night host, but in todays landscape, TV ratings can't really be used to be compared to the past since across the board they're much much lower. Same with scripted TV, in it's heyday a show like CSI was able to pull over 30 million viewers. By the time it went off the air in 2015, it was pulling 7 million. It's successor series CSI Vegas hasn't even crossed 5 million since premiering in 2021.
