Yeah, it's one of the best books I've ever read. This is one book that I saw hyped up on Reddit that actually turned out to be as good as everyone said it was. Williams' prose is straight forward, but undeniably beautiful. The last 20 pages or so absolutely gutted me. Great book!

I'd say just be respectful and don't come off as a lunatic. If they ignore you then leave it at that. If they're successful at all I'm sure they've had plenty of people tell them what their work means. I'm sure they're grateful, but I doubt they respond to everybody.

My favorite author is Cormac McCarthy... I'm pretty sure he would tell me to get fucked if met him and told him what his literature means to me, haha.

Huge King fan myself, and I honestly had to leave the King sub because I found the post to be way too repetitive. That sub has a huge problem with that, in my opinion. It got old. I never told people to not post that stuff though. That's their business. I just got sick of reading the exact same post every time I was on the sub, so I left.

😂 Yeah, it seems obvious, but my smooth brain didn't think of it either!

Dog earing isn't too bad though. I was listening to a podcast once, and a guy on there said that while he was reading IT by Stephen King he ripped each page he finished out, and threw it away because he wanted the book to get smaller as he went on. That's some psychopath stuff, haha.

I just use bookmarks. I used to lose them all of the time, but as obvious as it sounds I never had the idea of just putting the bookmark in a later section of the book while I was reading until I saw someone else doing it, haha. Once I'm done reading I just take the book mark out of the wrong section of the book, and put it where it belongs before I close the book. I find I never lose them now that I do that. If I just sit the bookmark down somewhere then there's a decent chance I'll lose it, ha.
