That's cool. It wasn't on your radar. Like someone else said, and I got downvoted for responding to, it's an anime so it's under a lot of peoples radars for that reason alone. If you watch anime and are in any anime subs or groups I'd have a hard time believing you if you said you hadn't at least heard of it.

Yeah I just had a brainfart and forgot that shounen was a fairly wide umbrella that houses many subgenres. It's more of a age range than an actual description.

Despite its cool action scenes, I would definitely put this under comedy/romance though. It for sure isn't a Naruto/Bleach/Dbz type of shounen so it definitely wouldn't outright appeal to those who only watch those types of shows. Its fun and charming though so it has mass cross-appeal and a little something for every anime lover.

You've got a good point but idk 🤷🏾‍♂️. Outside of the 35+ crowd anime is pretty mainstream nowadays. The Demon Slayer movie and DBS Broly movie both did big numbers when they hit theatres.

Fucking lol at Spy Family being on this list. Massively popular even amongst shonen only types.
