What kind of games do you like?

I would put Atomic Heart at the bottom of the list, but only because the others are very good and I would say it is entertaining, great visuals, but average with the bad/annoying dialogue.

If you like slower paced stories, RDR2 is a classic. A must play.

If you want a faster pace, Cyberpunk is a lot of fun, great visuals and great entertainment. Easy too. The story I cared less about, it is just fun and very atmospheric.

Deadspace Remake is my game of the year so far.(I have yet to play Resi4 Remake). A superb remake if you want fun play mixed with scary/atmosphere (but not overly scary for me).

Sons of the forest is just great fun with mates. If there is a group of you to play with, this is the one I would go for.

What will be driving the monitor? Console, PC, what GPU etc.?

What's the budget and cost of those monitors?

Without any other details I am taking the 32" 1440p monitor - just more to see. But it might not be the right one.

1080p at 27" is too low resolution now for me. 24" 1080 is fine.

However, I would certainly look them up on rtings.com before buying.

I would start with a good story game like What Remains of Edith Finch, Fire Watch or To The Moon.

Unpacking is good, but my partner found it dull (I liked it).

If she wants a bit more action, something like Uncharted or Guardians of the Galaxy would be good, still with a decent story.

Elden Ring - the story is just too opaque, loved the game, but had no idea until I finished and watched a video WTF was I doing there. Lol.

Persona 5 Royal - so I have to run up or down how many pointless stairs with a character that says nothing (when all the other voice acting was top quality), just slouches and limply holds out his hand as his only gesture beside shrugging. Loved the game, but give me my character I can relate to, give me some personality when every other character has it perfectly.

Look at:

  • Windows Maintenance Report for any alerts

  • Your monitoring software logs at the voltages, temperatures, utilization etc.

And see if there is anything interesting there?
