Still takes way less energy to just push it back into the atmosphere where it’ll burn up.

Almost certainly not a coincidence, but we don’t know whether the supermassive black holes are the ‘seed’ of the galaxy or whether the galaxy formed first and the stuff in the center collapsed into the black hole.

Another thing to consider is that a probe sent by future generations would almost certainly beat a probe sent today to the destination due to advances in propulsion technology.

No, that’s why I referenced the fact that it would burn up in the atmosphere.
