I already stated, we could provide some form of assistance for a person who is unable to pay for bus fare.
Outside of that extremely small minority, most people can pay their own bus fare. Why should the taxpayers pay the bus fare of people who can pay for it themselves?
If you want to pay for other people, do so. There are plenty of charities. Go ahead.

Free stuff always sounds good to the recipient... not so much for whoever is footing the bill.
Here's a radical idea: pay your own bus fare. Anyone who is unable to do so, should get some form of assistance (controversial as that is to some), but most people can pay a simple fee.

It brings me great displeasure to read about you and your friend's misfortune. I hope your complaints get handled with care but from the looks of it the whole process appears very muddled and difficult to navigate with any form of earnest fact finding.
Hope you stay ok.

I doubt that it ever happens save for rare ocassions. And I didn't mean haven't as in ever. Sure, as a teenager and young adult, I have been pulled over by cops (guns pointed to my head). But, those were cops responding to 187 at the dead of night in gang plagued areas of California. Unfortunately, I didn't look unsuspicious (dress, demeanor, etc) but I do understand that. They have a gruesome job to do and there are bad people out there.
As a responsible adult (who owns his errors and tries to avoid making them again), I rarely have been pulled over. When it happens, I was at fault.
If you're speeding, you're at fault. Try driving within the legal speed limit, it is better for everyone. Think about other people.

I'm Brown. I don't get "targeted." When I have been stopped it was for a valid reason. Don't break the law or drive with a broken etc or expired plates and you should be fine.

We know people can behave seriously irresponsible while driving. Just because others cause (even more) harm does not make your misgivings ok.
You are also doing something that can cause others harm or death.
People with your carelessness and attitude ultimately run other people over.
It isn't the fact that you made a mistake (probably countless times given how you try to justify it and make it seem unimportant) but rather that you try to act like it isn't a big deal and justify it.
That's what makes you selfish, irresponsible, and partially rotten. It's your inability to recognize your error, take responsibility for it, and try to avoid committing the error in the future.
And yes I make mistakes but I own them, take full responsibility, then try to avoid making those mistakes.
People like you have hurt and killed pedestrians. Reflect on that.

Sure. Who cares about your record? You're a selfish person. People like you harm and kill innocent people. Instead of recognizing your mistake and learning from it, you're trying to justify it.
In this respect, you are showing a rotten side to yourself. I hope you or your loved ones never suffer at the hands of someone like yourself.

It is a conscious effort. I do make full stops.
Let's see how you'll feel if one of your loved ones suffers because a selfish, irresponsible person doesn't make a full stop. Will you care about that driver's good grades? I wouldn't.
Own up to your mistake, pay the full fine, stop making excuses, and avoid doing dumb things.

If you didn't make a full stop at a stop sign, you have no argument. You won't win. Take this as a learning experience--you are wasting your time trying to fight something you can't win.
Also, I hope you make complete stops in the future. People get hurt and killed because of careless drivers.

But the whole "thou shall not" approach is anathema to knowledge.

Interspecies humping transcends binary sexual orientations. Think about that next time you visually violate your neighbor's cat or dog or the local squirrels and birds.
