Sure. And gloves really do go a long way I think for what you are doing. Just as long as there’s nothing risky going on of some kind of servo or motor starting leading to the glove getting trapped and injuring your hand. Like they always warn with rings and jewelry.

I like weightlifting gloves by Harbinger, I have them in grey, dark green/black and tan/black Depending on what I’m doing. I use them to ride my bike and lift weights. Sometimes I pull them out even when it’s cold and I still need my tactile parts; my fingertips.

I’m not sure how much luck you will have buying for life in a physically demanding industry like yours, I would say maybe two years?
