I think you are correct and my perspective was that they were the sellers. It’s more clear to me now. 👍

O, ok. If you're happy with the $17 instead of the $20 then never mind. I figured you were posting because you were disappointed someone shorted you $3. A card reader would prob be beneficial as cash no longer seems to be king. I hope you had a good haul this season!

Where are you located, if you don't mind saying? I'll come by a jug and give you the $3 they stiffed you on.

Sorry to ruffle your Hungarian feathers. After a quick google search it seems that they aren’t that far off in some cases but assuming you are Hungarian I’ll roll with it.

That is a very interesting take. I am now quite curious if that is why!

My folks moved here from Ohio so I’m sure thats why we called it goulash. Lots of Hungarian influence out there.

We grew up eating a very basic goulash which was: Ground beef A can of stewed tomatoes Macoroni Salt Pepper
There are different variations of goulash/american chop suey. Classic depression era type of food. Using pepperoni would be really good.

Reply to Shore fishing in Portland? by Gitzit
Lots of good spots, you’ll be in Casco Bay which is a great fishery. The Spring Point Jetty in South Portland, under the bridge between Portland and South Portland on the SoPo side, Mackworth Island in Falmouth, and anywhere you can find access. If you want to travel 15-20 mins Scarborough Marsh, Higgins Beach, Camp Ellis in Saco, and my favorite Ferry Beach in Scarborough. If you just want to buy some chunk bait to save yourself some time hit up The Tackle Shop on Veranda St in Portland. Have a great trip, Maine is a fantastic fishery.

You can hunt there? Obviously you can but I was unaware and a little surprised.

Agreed. I’ve been getting food there since before I can remember. Great sit down spot, great family who ran it, and my fav Chinese food in the area. Chia Sen is solid too. I wish them the best in whatever comes next for them. They had to have been in business there for at least 30 years.
