I was prepared to be disappointed to see the vast sea of cynical and dismissive comments under that article just like other tech articles that I had seen from popular subs before, but this time, I'm surprised that the comments are mostly jokes and genuine desire and support for the tech.

I was gone from reddit for a month, where is this sudden technoptimism coming from?
