Push the court date back as long as you can so people forget details, things get lost, evidence falls out of order, and in this case if it’s a trending topic or top news wait as long as you can and hope people forget. Which they did. Five plus years ago this article would be repeated endlessly by every major news outlet. Now, it’s old news.
