These cameras record video and the city has access to that video. You can get a copy of it by filing a FOIA with the city.
- Go here
- Click on "Request a public record"
- Click on "Submit a public records request to the city of Boston"
- Create an account/log in
- Submit a request. Use something like the following for the body of the request:
>Recorded footage from video/traffic cameras on Huntington Ave between the Fire Department and Sweeny Field, and especially at the Ruggles Street Intersection. Include video from [TIME] Eastern Standard Time [DATE] to [TIME] Eastern Standard Time the same day. Make the footage available in an industry standard format, such as MP4. Thank you.
Select "BPD Video Evidence Unit", "Public Records", and "Transportation" when making the request
They usually turn that around with 24 hours, but not sure about Friday.
Good luck.

Ah. Indeed, that does make a big difference.
Good luck!

You are the traffic and congestion. Move into the city if you want to avoid it and not contribute to it.

I was wondering if this would affect LEED score too. Maybe if they install solar panels, that would offset?

You can file a police report and the police will get the same footage, but IME, they might not share it with you. You should probably file a police report too.
Note that those cameras pan. It might not have been pointed in the direction of the incident when it happened unfortunately.
