I disagree; mainly because we already have plenty of heist movies using digital currency. Entrapment is over a decade old now but the 'vault' in that movie was just a computer terminal.

My understanding is that so much sci-fi, for good reason, just ignores harmful solar radiation. Like this is part of the reason.
