What exactly were you expecting? You already said the bread was getting too dark on medium setting, what did you expect to happen when you turned the bloody thing to high??? Not sure what’s wrong with using the good old fashioned grill setting on an oven to grill your cheese toaster, it’s even less effort than having to set an ironing board up and holding the iton

Can’t speak much about the American revolution but I do know that even in World War One the initial conflict between Britain and Germany was lost by Britain because the unit attempted a cavalry charge at German positions and they got gunned down. That war was not expected to play out like it did. No wonder the best tactic the generals could come up with was to send wave after wave of men over the top of the bunkers, they had no other experience of battle tactics than to charge in.

As a Brit I have to own up. We collectively are sorry but we are addicted to complaining and we can’t risk gas prices falling because what would we complain about then? The only logical solution was to damage the pipeline so the price for gas raises even more and our cost of living increases so we can increase the amount we complain. As you can see our decision to destroy the Nord Stream pipeline was perfectly justified and understandable so I hope you can forgive us
