Bitter reminder of 1st grade. Teacher brought in a telescope. Every day after class, a student could take it home to view the stars in the night sky. When it was my turn, stormy rain that night :(

The names were given to each of the year’s full moons and tend to relate to an activity or an event that takes place at the time. The names differ in different parts of the world. Either never learned or just forgotten as time goes by.

I have that sticker on my OneWheel fender with a bunch of similar ones.

I read somewhere that there “were” alien worlds out there and were destroyed, just how we’re doing it to our planet now. Technologically advanced but depleted their world’s resources until it killed them. Kinda like a planetary scale Easter Island; where the decline of the palm and the rapid deforestation that took place on the island caused societal collapse and population collapse.
