Reply to What typically happens at book clubs? by NRAAAE
Thank you for asking this! I am going to my first book club at my local book store tomorrow and am similarly anxious, especially since I'm very lukewarm on the book!

I didn't want to get lit up in that thread, but I go to this park all the time to read and I love watching the dogs play. I can't have a dog in my apartment so I live vicariously through those dogs. I wish I could pet them!

Reply to Meridian Hill Park Fountain? by katiacat218
The fountain area is still under construction. The park, especially the raised section around and behind the Joan of Arc statue, is very nice. I was there on Saturday and Sunday and there were a lot of folks with their dogs walking around and playing, and a lot of people reading and such.
I've observed crews working on the park as recently as last week, in the fountain area.

Reply to It’s so nice out. by eggreh
It was lovely out. I exclusively walked around to different parks and read. Read on the Mall for a bit, too. Also - got to go into the Air and Space Museum finally!

Reply to (spoilers) I did not like the ending of "Knock at the Cabin" by ModeThis
I have not read the book, but found the movie so extremely tiresome and really hated the ending. The only thing I enjoyed was David Bautista.
