This is dependent upon which form of English you speak. Neither is more correct than the other just as no one language’s grammar rules are any “more correct” than any other language’s rules.

Having grown up in largely the Appalachian’s I never even considered bears weren’t a constant presence in the whole country. 😂 I’m actually surprised about some of those center states not having bears, though, but I guess it makes sense. The Great Plains.

I bet if you broke the UP away from the lower peninsula of Michigan it would be a loooooot darker blue up there.
