I knew it had to be something drastic. I mean, they just opted in to his 3rd year of his contract like 2 weeks ago, and to full blown waive him, it checks out.

No, but I was always curious how they handled pregnancies. Just from a business standpoint, it seems financially questionable to sign someone to a 2 year contract, when they are going to be unavailable for most of it because of maternity leave.
WNBA runs in a negative, so all financial set backs matter. I’m sure not going to watch games, but how they keep themselves afloat actually interests me.
