This is kind of the sad truth. I remember getting issued my asbestos gloves in the army for changing machine gun barrels. Sometimes you have to pick the lesser of two evils and sometimes you just don’t have a choice.

Felger usually has good hockey takes. He can troll like the best of them (never came close to Adam Jones though) but it’s good background noise when I’m working either way.

Reply to comment by cjpowers70 in Healey should give rural Massachusetts a seat at the table - The Boston Globe by GlobeOpinion
That’s laughable because all I ever hear rural people say is how they could never commute into the city everyday for work so really it’s us doing the work rural folks can’t and won’t.

I hear the same thing about liquor but I keep seeing it cheaper in Massachusetts. I think if NH starts to sell it themselves it won’t be that much cheaper than it is else where.

Reply to Boston Healthcare System Total Garbage? by UltimateZo
I can only speak from my experience but my insurance does not require a referral for a specialist and my wife was able to find one she wanted to see, called to make an appointment, and was in to see her within less than 3 weeks. This specialist was very good and once meeting her I was pretty impressed with our quickly we were in but as my wife said we have great insurance so they got us right in. Our PCP is outside of the city but we routinely make appointments in the city with specialist as necessary. If finding a PCP in the city is difficult look outside with an affiliated practice.

Reply to Are Boston Plumbers Being dishonest or truthful? by bizzaveli
It’s 50-50. If you literally aren’t touching the existing plumbing they may let it go but they have the right to make you replace it. My recommendation is call the plumbing inspector and talk it though. They will tell you what they will sign off on.
