We have the same problem down here on the route 7 connector in Norwalk. Late at night/ early am during the warmer months you can here racing going up and down burning rubber, and no one seems to be doing anything about it.

The only one I ever saw was in the Catskills (NY) while camping. It was in a tree making a scratching sound at night.
