And also one of the greatest injustices if you order one in America. The US wouldn't know a a real 'belgian' waffle if it smacked them in the face. The nearest comparison might be Dutch pannekoek, but still nothing close to a firm Liege waffle.

They wouldn't have been 'completely' out, and rightly so. Girl on the right for sure could have passed as a cis man, especially in the 30s. Only a small number of places they could really be out.

There's not much codeine in it though, not anywhere near enough to get you to 'nod out' or anything. The promethazine and alcohol combination do a lot of the heavy lifting.
