The problem is that total use is increasing. So flat gas and coal absolute use is a reduction in the percent of the electric generation mix. But it means the C emissions haven't changed, they just aren't getting worse.

Something always rubs me wrong when companies advertise they are giving away one pair for each they sell. Why not charge half price?

Last time I looked at I believe it was something on the scale of 1 cubic meter of concrete per person per year on the planet. Mindbogglingly huge amount.
