Reply to Avenue 5 by MSGRiley

HBO did such a shit job of promoting this show. Right around when the second season started HBO bought tons of ad time during the MLB postseason. Not a single frame was of Avenue 5. That's when I knew they were cancelling it.

Tiger’s father was a green beret and when he died Tiger started SEAL training. Not actual SEAL training but very similar exercises. It destroyed his back and he basically had to re-learn how to swing a club without aggravating his back so much.

Then came the accident with his leg which led to another re-tooling of his swing. And he’s still playing incredible golf. After watching yesterday’s round it’s clear he’s capable of winning again.

No doubt in my mind he’d still be a top 5 golfer regularly winning tournaments if it wasn’t for the injuries.

Adam Brody was great as Seth. But Seth the character was a dumb whiny teenager who, whenever faced with a decision, made the wrong choice 99% of the time.

Sandy Cohen was the MVP. A truly altruistic, idealistic, loving father and husband.

I strive to be the perfect Sandy Cohen/Phil Dunphy hybrid kind of father.

I went there in 08 for a semester before transferring. The school has no identity. It's a small school that is broken up into two campuses on opposite ends of Danbury, which is extremely inconvenient. How many people in other schools have to plan their class schedule around rush hour? It's not a big sports school so there's very little school spirit. It's tough to attract high school seniors to a school like that.

That said, I hope they figure this out. It's actually a good school from an academic standpoint. It has really good nursing and education programs.
