Bit of an awkward typo, it should be “dyed red”. From briefly skimming, I saw the word died and assumed the worst.

It basically refers to all those soulless 5 story condo buildings that are going up literally everywhere. The boxy gentrified-looking ones.

This is great! There isn’t much over there in that part of the airport, and they definitely need more hangars.
