Then no issues with it. Any semi-linear game with challenges is gonna be 'gatekeeping' the next challenge and is a tool necessary to design and make a game.

Depends on what your eyes are used to.
If you game on 30 fps regularly you're not gonna mind at all.
IF you play 144hz all the time and switch back to 30, it looks like stopmotion animation. Some older screens also have a lot of blurring, which might camouflage it and a lot of games have motion blur which also helps.

Short games are fine if priced lower.
I like remasters and remakes if warranted, I hate game series with yearly games WAY more. (CoD/assassin creed)
Lowered graphics ? If stylized it's fine.
Not sure what you mean by gatekeeping level design though.

If we go with that scenario, it also means we’re gonna wage a huge war on thinking machines, forbid the use of thinking machine and develop/train superhuman processors to replace computers
