When I read Jennette McCurdy 's autobiography that's what struck me is how normal her issues were. I know a couple women who struggled exactly the way she did.

From what I heard it's also easier for Scrubs to do things right since the focus was never on the illness. A show like House had to make illnesses outlandish to be entertaining.
