This info is leaning hard on the "assume that it will someday exist", it's pretty misleading on first and second glance. I know you probably didn't design the survey, but this attitude towards GAI should really be presented through a more neutral question.

Typically, this sort of diagram is used to go from least specific to most specific left to right, with the ones on the right being dependent on the ones on the left.

The slices in this diagram seem to be pretty much completely independent of eachother (they merge), I think this data would be much more easily consumed in a series of pie charts.

Vala and Zig, and yet no Rust? I think a key would also be helpful to show us which colors mean what and what the size of the languages circle means.

Influence is my guess, with arrows denoting who influenced who.
