Iirc it was revealed that Elon was upset his tweets weren’t showing on feeds anymore (due to high # of blocks and unfollows) that he forced the engineers to change the algorithm.

This means controversial accounts with high block counts are no longer being hidden by the algorithm and possibly even boosted.

This isn’t relevant to what’s happening.

The government is simply trying to stop companies front loading doctors with money while also using false advertising about the risks involved. This is about stopping the addiction to begin with (which isn’t necessarily the addict’s fault).

Multi billion dollar companies need to be held accountable.

That wasn’t why people were upset with the rule change. $600 is such a low number that having a garage sale is enough to raise red flags. If you get flagged, you need to prove you made less than $600 in profits which is difficult.

I just sold 150+ items on eBay this past year as I’m moving. My total sales amount to $3000+. This will definitely raise a red flag but nothing I sold was for profit. Thus the $600 cut off doesn’t actually apply to me but I do have to provide documentation for every item.

You’re being downvoted but this is literally the solution to the entire MTX problem.

If people would stop buying the cosmetics for the insane prices they would be forced to drop the price. I’ve already seen a few games launch with greedy pricing and lower it within weeks due to poor sales.
