If you can afford it why not, I’m old so we have. PS1, Xbox, Wii, Switch, PC, Mac, Raspberry Pi etc don’t let any concept of “brand loyalty” enter you life. It’s a pointless concept people invent to make themselves feel justified.

Indeed that’s a “home computer”. My first home computer was a Sinclair ZX81. I diddnt get a console until 15 years or so later which was a PS1. I had various HC’s in between.

Not a thing that matters to grown ups. Same thing re Jeep vs LandRover, Apple v Android etc, people with sad lives wrap far to much of their self identity up into a brand or thing.

Yes, jokes aside this one was lucky. I think it was in a spare room away from direct light and then got boxed up when I bought my PS2 and never got abused.

This is my PlayStation. I owned since I bought it all those years ago. Not sure how close this was to launch but I remember them being in short supply and I phoned round all the shops in town and found this is a backstreet independent.

I don’t normally keep stuff so we’ll, all the original manuals and disks are there (I think) so it’s a real survivor.
