Not all goods have inelastic demand. Costs going up means people will buy less.

It also looks extremely fragile. If the cost of sales goes up just a little faster than then revenue then BAM, all profit gone.

Yep, if you take a boat and add weight the boat will sink until the additional water it has displaced equals the additional weight.

No, it was different for me - I was just having issues with MMS messages not working. Still, maybe your problem is the app itself and in that case, can't hurt to try a different messaging app

Sounds like basically the same issue with MMS messages not working (MMS is the protocol for sending pictures in messages but they also use it for doing group messages). Solution for me was to download "Messages by Google" in the Play Store and use that as my messaging app instead - drop-in replacement and it worked.

I was using the default messages app that came with the phone. Instead look for "Messages by google" in the play store and download that. In setting it up, you can set it as your default messaging app. Then just like, remove the shortcuts for the old one and good to go.

I just spent a few days fixing my MMS after my OnePlus 7 Pro updated to Android 12. Sure it's 3 years old, but ... that's not that old. The issue ended up being that the Messages app in the update was bugged so had to switch to the one that Google puts out on the play store.

I think this would be way too distracting to actually use....but damn, is it pretty.

Yeah, this would look totally different if you started it at 2000 instead.

Depends what you are trying to convey. If the message is "look how ridiculously more powerful these later nukes were compared to the first ones" then a linear scale is much more appropriate.

Yeah, usually people dump on charts in this sub, but this is a very well-done visualization. Clearly communicates the point.

Very rare to see posts here that aren't mostly greeted by critical comments. The sub should be called "RoastMyPlot", IMO!

I mean, if your suggesting that Walmart could raise prices and make more profit then why aren't they doing that already? Like if the price right now is X, then the only reason it's not X+.50c is that they've determined they would sell less at the higher price point - enough less to not offset the increased profit.
