Reply to Despite warnings, Australia's efforts to save the Great Barrier Reef still fall short of protecting the world's largest coral reef system from pollution and climate change, experts said Monday by DoremusJessup
If that were thew case we wouldn't be seeing reports like those below:
Monitoring of the reef has only been going on for 36 years. That's not a lot of data on which to be creating a doom scenario. https://phys.org/news/2022-08-great-barrier-reef-fragile-coral.html

The Flash. It was getting bad anyway but then they showed us a half-man/half-shark.

Reply to What is a flawed series you really like ? by [deleted]
Rome only ran 2 seasons and my complaint is that in order to get it down to a manageable script they re-wrote history.
Another was Dead Like Me where they explained the rules in the pilot and then disregarded those rules in later episodes.
And then there's The Expanse where they have a convenient view of gravity.
To flaw is human - to forgive, well we paid for cable.

The pacing of the show is a turn-off. But it's necessary to see how the experience impacted the ladies as their future selves. Here's a spoiler though, if you continue to watch you'll be shocked.
