That's the benefit of the grid. The wind is always blowing somewhere.

The byproduct of steam reformed hydrogen production is C02. You get about the exact same amount by volume consumed, you just produce the carbon exhaust at a different location.

Most commercial hydrogen is also fossil fuel.

Those are still pre-production estimates. Inflation alone could make those numbers impossible.

And they seldom keep any in stock that don't have a bunch of options.

Only if you think EVs are not cars. Look at year over year sales across all brands and you'll see them mostly falling. A few are holding ground, or show slight gains. Then Tesla with 50% YoY growth.
They're using the wrong metrics to trick you. Don't let them.

Existing pipelines can not move hydrogen. They're still exploring how much it would take to convert them and if it's even possible.

It can't. Hydrogen atoms are insanely small, and hydrogen makes metal brittle. It requires it's own infrastructure.

Cities with effective, widespread mass transit exist. People can and do move to them every day. They're just really expensive. Density sufficient to make mass transit work is a lot more expensive to build.

Oil companies. Most commercial hydrogen is made from natural gas. The fossil giants have the most to gain by miles.
