It's an adaptation of several of the original books, but not a direct sequel to the movie.

Feel like Thano’s first snap was the most memorable. People were shocked when a villain finally won.

Gattica is an excellent and underrated film. it features 2 brothers one of which receives genetic modification and the other who does not. it was sci-fi when it was made, but we get closer to it every year.
