Port Networks is alright. I never had any issues.

Baltimore can live without an XFL team. No one is going to sit at M&T Bank in the middle of February weather.

There’s another hall of famer that I think is still in one of the downstairs bathrooms at the Crown “I used to be in Sonic Youth. Now I suck dick in this bathroom”.

Please keep going with this- this sub can be pretty depressing and we need more stuff about places to eat and drink.
If I can add a place to your list check out Zen West (5916 York Rd). I like this place in general because of its Americanized Mexican food and enthusiasm for cheesy rock bands that no other venue will book. All that aside I'd be curious for your thoughts on their grilled wings. I won't poison the well by offering my opinion.

Reply to Potentially moving to Aberdeen, MD by rngATARIS
I lived there for a few years before moving back to Bmore. It isn't that bad. The quality of life was fine, I just got bored in Harford County.
Ideally you want to be on the west side of Rt.40. That said if you are in a house I don't think you would really have any problems with anyone. Some of the apartment complexes on the east side of 40 in Aberdeen are sketchy but its mostly drug related stuff that won't effect you if you aren't in that scene. There's some sections of Aberdeen that are really nice and up there with the better sections of Bel Air and Havre de Grace. I lived off W. Bel Air Ave and never had issues with porch pirates or feeling unsafe, my neighbors were all decent middle class people.
Make sure to grab food at Georgia's Carryout. Their soups are incredible. There's some decent shopping centers with a food store (Shoprite), Target, and Home Depot all very close to each other.

Pandemic really ruined a lot. Broadway Diner no longer being open 24 hours every day is brutal (used to love going there after getting off work late or some weekday drinking). There's the Korean places in Station North that are usually open after the bars close but the service is pretty spotty.
It's a vicious cycle- less people going out because nothing is open late, but nothing is open late because less people are going out on weekdays.

Reply to Mount Royal Tavern sells for $800,000 to new owners, who include Dan Deacon by needleinacamelseye
It'll be a good investment as long as they don't play Dan Deacon's music and scare all the customers away.
