I think the picks were right. The Buckeyes laid a brick at home and got in the back door, but only one loss and to number 2. Bama's second loss kept them out, otherwise they would have squirmed in yet again over TCU. Committee didn't want OSU/Michigan in the first round.
Georgia is the one to beat of course, but the Buckeyes will be very dangerous. With a month, they will be healthy for the first time in weeks and highly motivated to erase the embarrassment of the home loss. I don't see a world though where TCU wins against Michigan.
Wouldn't be surprised to see an OSU/Michigan rematch in the title game.
