It’s a comfort food. Grew up eating it as a kid. Why is that so bad? Do you get bothered at people who eat Kraft Mac and Cheese as adults?

It tastes like childhood to me . Throw it on a pizza crust and fresh cheese. It’s a completely different vibe with the Don. It’s definitely not good for you (corn oil) but man it does hit the spot sometimes.

The Beach Boys. From clean cut teenage boys in the 1960s singing about surfing, girls and cars to their use of psychedelics in the late 60s/70s creating one of the most influential albums ever recorded/produced (Pet Sounds) which changed modern recording techniques and practices. Their sound really changed when Brian began experimenting with psychedelic drugs.
Add in a fucked up family life for the Wilsons, with Charles Manson involved with Dennis Wilson, and you get a pretty epic story to go with the music.
Amazingly talented family (the Wilson brothers) cousin Mike Love, and Al Jardine/David Marks/Bruce Johnston.
Their music evolves quite drastically over time.

Nailed it perfectly. Same story with me. My single mom making me these as a kid and all her hard work. Ultimate definition of comfort food.
