IF they really wanted people putting them out the morning of trash/recycle pick up then they shouldn't have the trucks start coming before 10 AM so people can wake at a reasonable hour and get them out and not feel as though they'd have to get up in the middle of the night.

I think most places do nowadays. They may however require you to show up every third or fourth visit. This is usually because it is very difficult to assess how depressed someone might be if you never see them in person. People sometimes show up at appointments disheveled which could make the psychiatrist aware how badly they are doing and can assess for suicidality and such. You can often cover things like this up if all your appointments are via telehealth.

Have you considered connecting with Cooley-Dickinson Hospital in Northampton which serves across western Massachusetts? They are a member of Mass General Brigham (in Boston). Not sure if you know this but as a MassHealth member you can request medical transportation to your appointments through your PCP. Your PCP would need to complete a PT-1 for each of your clinician's so if the provider is not convenient to you, you still shouldn't have problems getting to an appointment.

What vicinity are you in, in order to better advise you?

Do you not have insurance? I ask because I think most of the major hospitals now are providing telehealth appointments. Someone I know see's a psychiatrist at Beth Israel in Boston and they do telehealth, however they do require you to go in once every third or fourth visit.
I also know people who use Interfaith Social Service Counseling program and they provide counseling through telehealth.
