I might actually watch baseball if I could see games like this. Savannah Bananas are the shit.

I’m dying that the other team has sleeveless fringe uniforms.

holy shit how did that guy on stilts not die? I still walk - if I had a chance at professional sports I wouldn’t risk my career running on slippery powdery gravel.

Well I’d say those researchers better not congregate on one plane any time in the future, or else this research is going to get set back further than aids research did…

More control in the experiment that results in a lack of natural variation, which is vital for understanding how it would impact a population rather than a single individual? I can understand certain aspects it might help, but that seems awfully foolhardy to think it wouldn’t result in such a lack of diversity among study subjects that it’s as if you only had a sample size of one.

Potentially began with divorce papers. The most dangerous time at the hands of an abusive partner is when you’re trying to leave. A non-abusive partner doesnt drive his family off a cliff and try to kill them.

Reply to Peter Thiel says he had $50M in SVB when it collapsed. by PossessionStandard42
You mean he had a bunch of money invested when he actively tried and succeeded in making SVB collapse by telling everyone he knew to withdraw all their deposits, creating a run on the bank, and making the bank go under.
He’s either an idiot who did his utmost to tank his own investment or he’s angling to buy up SVB for pennies on the dollar.
