Everyone knows that the First Amendment does not allow for screaming "FIRE" in a crowded theater or saying anything your landlord doesn't want you to say.

C'mon, OP. THINK!!! Your landlord has no ability to limit your First Amendment rights. They cannot tell you what you can say, nor to whom.

My guess would be that, in his mind, at a recent intersection, you did him wrong, and you're going to pay.

In my experience in the city, the most aggressive, adamant, vocal drivers are those with no actual clues about the rules of the road or traffic laws. Ironically, they view themselves as authorities on the topic. The guy you're going to meet in this situation is someone who just made a right turn from the left lane, across 4 lanes of traffic.

Hate to say it, but I think an exterminator is only half the solution. AFTER exterminating the bugs, I think you really want to take the mattresses to the dump and buy new. I don't care who says the chemicals that kill the bugs are safe for humans - you're going to be sleeping directly on that mattress every day. You can read your own pamphlet. I wouldn't think of keeping the mattress.
