I don’t know but I can be pretty confident. That DoTC place is filled with people that want to continue their little club and they know that the public is against them. They’re actively trying to just go under the radar and stay out of trouble. Why would a group trying to stay out of trouble go around stirring up trouble? It makes much more sense that a redditor in a sub full of fervent left wingers, takes the opportunity to rile up anger towards them by making up a story that everyone will believe. This is internet 101 and is happens all the time on here.

It most certainly hasn't been accepted into the culture of downtown Richmond. Sure low class people outside of the city like it but that's different.

Not true though is it? Casinos are a blatantly immoral and predatory business and accepting that into your culture has snowballing effects. Petersburg shouldn't have one either but I'd rather it be outside of the city than have it directly festering in the heart of what is currently a very positive movement

He's clearly not right in the head/ his life isn't going very well. Plenty of people on both sides who use politics as an outlet for their personal issues. Sad to see. Hope he finds a better path forward
