A long time ago, in the 90s, there was no streaming. Networks needed to fill their daytime slots, so they put "old" episodes of a series there.

A series needed about 100 episodes to air 5-10 episodes per week without airing a duplicate episode every other month.

Also television exploded in the 1980s with satellite TV and cable. The networks needed more content.

Baywatch was briefly the biggest series on earth.

Quayle was mocked, but saying a kid doesn't need a good father is a bad message.

The Simpsons was an important show. Bart was a terrible role model. The Simpsons were a bad family. That was shocking in the 90s so bush complained.

Peggy spoke to Bobby about sex. Yeah. It showed the absurdity of the anti sex ed crowd.

Most of the race episodes showed blacks as reactionaries. Hank Hill wasn't racist. He was a white conservative. There's a difference.

Confederate flag has been an issue since about 1861. In the 90s, liberals were trying to take it down from statehouses.
