Reply to TIFU by letting my parents pawn my silver by [deleted]
It's a hard lesson to realize your parents are happy to hurt to you over fast food and cigarettes. This will not be the last time they convincingly ask you to help them hurt you. It is unfortunate, but you are going to have to figure out your life and set your boundaries on your own, without a clear example. I wish you luck. I believe in you.

It doesn't, but our reliance and their pullback has resulted in the bulk of our inflation. We'd survive a total divestment, if you don't mind ripping some hairs with the bandaid.

Yes but the fewer kids you have, the more you rely on your only kids to help out.

yeah, imagine if they tried to hide glasses. Like, not contacts but plastic skin tone frames and looping around your face in weird ways like a bad pair of monocles

Somewhere deep in the settings I was able to get them to boost specifically the highs in transparency mode. But it might be related to my previous hearing aids' tie-in to my phone (they were bluetooth). Or not related. Definitely do some googling regarding the accessibility settings. I can't remember my steps.

They sound better and work better than the two hearing aids I have owned. Also cheaper, more comfortable, and more stylish. I've always thought hearing aids should be honest so that they can look cool instead of trying to hide either behind the ear or like skin tone in the ear.

Generally for someone like me who won't know enough to evaluate the quality of the papers, the abstracts are enough to give me a "better than the news" synopsis to work with.

60%, of course, is just an emotional number that means "a lot less, but still over 50% so make sure it's still a party" that the DJ will understand.
