What really takes me off it's the fact they updated the Quarks with DSP, so where do this fit into?, They already replaced the Spaceship with the Chu and this would be the replacement for the Quarks but seems like a bad business management to have updated a product that was/is going out soon, unless they want to have something similar to the 5.0 and 5.2 Nekocake, which it could be plausible but then again their own products are fighting at this point.
Good ol' classic moondorp, fighting itself because there's no "true" competitor.

I don't remember where but I believe it was a leak that Quarks will receive an USB-C option, while Chu has been somewhat a success for some reason I don't remember mention about something similar on the leak.

I believe you can get all your answer from here.
Well, 95% of my library came from there, the rest are from CD and vice versa.

After 2 or 3 washes the Yaxi pads start fading colors, my orange Yaxi now look less than a traffic cone and more like a peach, definitely loving them even more than I did on the begging, they look like nothing else.

This, we weebs are the kids from late 90's and early 2000's, people forget now we earn our money and we can spend it as we want. If a well rounded product do also have an eye catching presentation then it's preferable to one of the many "best" out there.
Personally I got into Moondrop by accident while deciding on which KZ get and mainly was because of the box, is that wrong?, No, I still have some old GPU boxes with an 3D elf girl or similar, my father isn't into waifu culture and I believe the term is newer than those boxes, waifus as decorations are as old as marketing is, old people just need something to discharge their hatred and it just happens this is an easy target.
NGL have seen a boomer making fun of the Kato case "because it's too girly", not because of anything else just how it looks, if that isn't proof enough IDK what is.

Truthear Zero are power hungry? I thought they were one of the most easily drivable IEM.

Next month I'll have 1 year with my ES4 (my first IEM) on December my EDX Pro will also join and on January my TA1 and SSP will too, after that the rest are not that old.
The ES4 still going but I don't use them since my TA1, SSP and SSR are just too good daily drivers for my needs so I just stopped using them since May, on January I passed the EDX to my sister (because I gifted her some BLON-03 on Christmas but she lost them) and still going strong, the TA1 is also working.
As for Moondrop, all my 4 (soon to be 5) Moondrops all still work just fine, SSP and SSR doesn't have the inner paint anymore, my Nekocake Achy Acht still working (although the silicone case started loosing some small letters) and I'm babysitting my Starfield, I would love to daily drive them but I fear someone would try to steal them on the public transport so I'm being extra careful with them, I'm waiting my blue Kato to arrive.
I clean them with facial degreaser (micellar water) and wipe them with cotton, if you use alcohol you're risking yourself to mess with the glue on the filters and in the long term they will fall off and also damage the paint, after that I store them on their cases with a small silica bag and let them rest over night, never had unbalanced issues even though sometimes I use my SSP while exercising and they are still working, planning to get some Chu to see if they work as well as the SSP, got my suspicions that some people don't take care of their personal stuff.
Edit: planning to get some car PPF for the Starfield although I doubt it would be any help because the Starfield paint issue it's because of small impacts (like hot wheels), thinking to also add the PPF to the Chu test alongside with an acrylic paint coat and MMCX reliability.

Never, never and I mean NEVER!! clean IEMs with alcohol, alcohol is a solvent and could damage the paint and/or the glue, I know you want to have clean your IEMs but alcohol is too strong better use some baby tissues or a degreaser for oily skin, at the end of the day that's the only thing you should clean your IEMs from.
You could try to re apply it to the nozzle but if you already ordered a new pair I don't know how much do you want to have 2 pairs of each filter.

I just had my Starfield for a couple of days but I'm really falling in love with them, ordered a Kato just a days ago and I'm really looking forward on how they are going to sound.
My birthday was a couple of days before so I gifted myself the Starfield but my family gifted me the Kato, it supposed to be a surprise but because they thought it was some sort of mail error they spilled the beans about them, not going to lie it was the best birthday non wanted gift I will get.

Have the little brother, Live 400BT, sound great and honestly for how much they cost on Amazon to me they are the best BT headphones out there, that's of course if you like a sound signature similar to the Bose Quiet Confort series.
