They do an aggressive, medium and mild model - all under AL13. The Medium is the most common but even the aggressive is mild compared to most razors on the market.

For shaving aggressive refers to the amount of the blade that’s exposed.

For this razor, the more aggressive model OP has is still milder than most other razors. It’s a bit of an outlier in that it’s extremely precisely machined exposing very little blade but is still able to give an excellent shave.

I have one and it is exceptionally comfortable. It’s the best shave I’ve ever had and I’ll never use anything else.

Need a quality razor and takes some practice to get the technique down.

It will take a bit longer than a cartridge blade shave but the comfort and quality of shave is sooo worth it.

I have the same Henson that OP has and it’s magnificent. A joy to shave with.

It’s expensive up front for a quality razor and you’ll need to buy replacement double edge blades but they’re probably about 10% the price or cartridge blades so in the long run it saves money. - decent blades where I am in the UK are about £3 for 5 blades

My biggest saving is with shaving gel/foam - you can get an ok brush for pretty cheap and a tub of basic soap like Arko or Cella is really cheap (im in UK it’s like £6-£7 so like $10) and lasts about 50 shaves easily.

It’s also a much nicer shave if you do it right.

I can totally believe it that they could. I went to Tenerife once and they grow bananas there. The local bananas were amazing. The best, sweetest fullest tasting bananas I’ve ever had.

Yeah. I think most people seem to get rid of them when something goes wrong with it. They’re always selling for cheap either without a charger or dead batteries on local Facebook groups etc.

The motor and the actual machine though, I have direct experience now of 5 Dysons and they’ve all been absolute top tier pieces of equipment.

I currently have two cordless Dysons - one of which I got cheap because it needed a new battery, the other I bought new and had to replace the battery charger after 3-4 years. Previously had a wired one for 10+ years which still worked perfectly when I sold it on and replaced.

Sure the batteries won’t last forever but they’re not crazy expensive to replace (both of mine can be removed with only a screwdriver).

Say whatever you like about Dyson, the guy and his ethics etc but my experience with their products has been exceptional. I’d recommend Dyson vacuums as BIFL for sure.

I have a problem with corruption. Competence has a ceiling, especially in the context of a democracy. Governments can make mistakes, missteps and when they do, absolutely should be fairly criticised.

The UK is currently on 5 out of the last 6 Prime Ministers initially gaining power by an internal party vote. Yes 2 of those 5 went on to win General Elections but that’s still periods of years we’re talking about where the government that was elected is not the government that’s in power - 2 of those governments are since the most corrupt government in modern UK history was elected and fell apart.

I don’t have a problem paying a high rate of tax.

What I have a problem with is a corrupt, morally bankrupt government wasting it in every way they can find that doesn’t actually benefit the population.
