Is that for one child? That's a little more than I'd pay in a month just for my three year old at $333 a week. My one year old is $400 something per week.

That may cover sales tax for food but just barely. With the way prices have gone up my family of five went from spending $800 a month to nearly $1000, and I wouldn't be surprised if our food budget has to increase more.
We definitely should be working for subsidized or free childcare/Pre-K. It's insane how much it can cost. Right now I pay $750 a week for my three year old and one year old. That's literally half of my monthly budget.

Those numbers wouldn't even make up for a month of childcare.

Yeah. I'm hoping to do something over the summer on the east side, but the days are so long that it's hard to keep my kids up long enough to see stars then. Maybe if we waited until March or April there'd be less of a chance of snow in the passes, and the sun would still set soon enough. It's just hard to plan with weather, so I'm trying to find a few places close by. That way when we have a weekend with a clear sky, we can just go.
There's honestly so many places in Eastern Washington that I want to go to for hiking, etc but there's never enough time for all of them.

Thank you. That actually looks like a good alternative to the coast, and it's only two and a half hours from me. I'll check it out.

Camping is unfortunately out of the question since my three-year-old can't even get through a night in our tent in our backyard.
I was really hoping for suggestions for b aches and stuff to go to, and then spend the night in a hotel.

Yup. On par with a tattered flag being flown along with a service branch flag. A house in my neighborhood had an American flag way worse than this flying above an immaculate Marine Corp flag. Pissed me off so much.

And here I am in Federal Way wondering where all the snow we usually get in February has gone.
