If you do get a job in NYC you can do what many people do and live in Stamford or the surrounding area to depending on how long you’d be willing to commute into the city while still having relatively easy access to New Haven as well.

I have never worked in east haven personally but I know a few people that have lived there and I’ve always heard good things! Depending on your price range you can also find affordable homes in Milford, Hamden, north haven and west haven, not too far from the beach too!

Like the other comment mentions, all those neighborhoods within New Haven are amazing and been on the come up for the past few decades but have seen a real boom in the past few years especially.

Milford is a beautiful coastal town that has miles of public and private beaches as well as a lively downtown along with a major mall and the Boston post road which is also a major shopping corridor!

Feel free to DM me if you have any more questions!
