I never thought about it until now, but I think I’m going to start asking friends to come over for coffee to my house in the morning. I love making good coffee, and it would give me a reason to not wait until the last minute to get up. Thanks!

Going through a break up, realizing how many people I know but how few friends I have. Thankful for the few, but damn it’s hard to move past the “stop and talk for a minute if we see each other” to actually hanging out kind of friendship.

Regardless, busting my ass trying to make myself more attractive in the future. It’s easy to be bitter and I’m trying really hard not to do that.

If you’re comfortable enough with it, there are some great gravel “roads” around Belle Isle and below Buttermilk trail. You can also connect to the floodwall path then to ancarrows landing/poop loop. Poop loop is technically a mountain bike trail but it’s easy enough that anyone can ride almost any bike on it.

Once you get used to riding looser surfaces like gravel, it opens a ton of options to ride bikes away from cars in the city. Have fun!

Finally flying back to RVA tonight after 3 weeks in the deep south due to a family emergency. I cannot wait to be back.

Going to sleep in my own bed, ride my bike, and throw some chicken wings on the sidewalk to celebrate my return.
