This is the same mindset agnostics have about the supernatural
"eh, by definition can't be understood, no point in worrying about it"

I would bet that this effect is less from the eyes themselves and more from the brain focusing on your center of view and only really watching for movement/changes in your peripheral vision

honestly salt isn't all that effective, heat is way better, you can use the microwave on 10sec bursts or you can just heat like a mug or something so that the alcohol gets hot

Yeah decompression is what will kill you not freezing
And spacecraft don't have freezing issues, they have overheating issues because there's no medium to transfer heat out of the ship

Right but what I'm saying is if you're going fast enough *dust* is "debris"
And space is *full* of dust

Yes it'd be a massive issue. The faster you're going the bigger an issue it is.

So the relevance is that the amount of mass in the star is what creates the pressure required to create fusion on increasingly heavier elements. So the bigger the star, the heavier the elements it can eventually trigger a fusion reaction with.

Wouldn't the "greenhouse effect" be the misnomer since its name came from greenhouses
