Whenever I pick up a controller to play something on PS4, I am genuinely shocked at the amount of aim-assist they have to use to make it work.

There's a bunch of Agatha Christie/Poirot games on Steam that could be worth checking out.

I also really want to recommend Disco Elysium... since you play a detective solving a murder (mostly), but it might not exactly scratch the itch you're looking for. >!It's so good though!<

It is actually really, really good. The community is fucking unbearable though, seriously they need to play some other games sometime.
