Perhaps, but Apple has official feedback mechanisms in place for a reason.

What is much more likely is that the people who actually submit feedback about this represent a vocal minority which is only a small sliver of the total user base, and Apple is weighing their input accordingly.

It's easily disabled in Settings under Emergency SOS. These people with repeated calls are their own worst enemies.

Reply to Hey! Anyone saw similar issue and know how to solve it? I’m on vacation without access to any service. It’s iPhone 12. It didn’t fall or anything, it happened out of nowhere while surfing the net. by Fit_Extension_1838

So you purchased it brand-new? Or are you actually claiming it never ever fell or anything before you owned it?
If you purchased it brand-new, how long ago did you purchase it? If it's under a year it's covered by Apple's warranty. If not, contacting Apple support is still worth a try since they sometime )often) cover defects after the initial warranty period has elapsed.

Removing that cached data will only result in your device working harder, using more battery, and reducing speed while rebuilding the cached data. The OS automatically manages this data, and you're better off ignoring it.

There aren't reports of apps other than the one this developer wrote to test it.
